GAIMIN Product Offering

The GAIMIN Platform

The GAIMIN Platform is a Windows PC-based application providing the user with a front-end for accessing new exciting Web3 games, GAIMIN's gaming-related products and services, together with passive background monetization.

The user downloads and installs the free application onto a PC from www.gaimin.gg. The application detects the available devices in the PC and commences monetization when run. The user is requested to register with GAIMIN with registration enabling them to see their monetization returns.

The gaimin.cloud data processing platform is powered by gamers' computational resources via the GAIMIN platform.

GAIMIN acquires users by offering them:

  • A superior gaming platform.

  • Access to an exciting new generation of Web3 games.

  • Web2 games with Web3 integrations, facilitated by GAIMIN's gamer developer tools.

  • True ownership, of interoperable, cross-game, utility game assets.

  • Passive rewards to fund their gaming.

  • A gaming community

  • The ability to "Watch and Earn" by viewing Twitch streams through the GAIMIN innovative streaming integrations.

The GAIMIN Platform is currently a fully functional MVP. Built on the Electron programming framework, the framework used by companies such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Spotify, Discord, Twitch, and more, allowing for huge scalability and future cross-platform capabilities. With our current infrastructure, we can onboard 100,000 active users immediately and can scale to 1 million within a few days if needed. Future scaling plans are already in place.

On the first run, the GAIMIN Platform identifies available devices for use within gaimin.cloud and manages monetization job allocation and collation of results. In order to incentivize users to maintain their connection to and participation with gaimin.cloud, the GAIMIN Platform is designed to deliver a superior gaming experience to users with its integration with game launching and gamer-oriented environments. The GAIMIN Platform handles in-game asset ownership and management and delivers passive rewards to users for their participation in gaimin.cloud.

The application provides access to the games supported by GAIMIN. These currently include:

  • GAIMIN’s Minecraft server incorporating blockchain and DGA functionality, used as proof of concept

  • GTA V - GAIMIN’s GTA V server incorporating blockchain and DGA functionality, used as proof of concept

  • Fortnite and APEX Legends - GAIMIN provides gift cards for both these games through its Marketplace. Users purchase gift cards using their earned rewards through monetization.

  • The Harvest (pre-launch) - a Web3 game to be launched in 2023. GAIMIN is working directly with the developers on creating a community of gamers for this game

Marketplace

  • The marketplace is GAIMIN’s online store that offers a wide variety of items for purchase including Digital Game Assets (NFTs) and gift cards. In the future, Marketplace may also be extended to incorporate the sale of hardware, software, accessories, and merchandise.

Merchandise

  • GAIMIN will launch its own range of branded merchandise which will be available through the Marketplace store.

  • As with Accessories, users can purchase Merchandise using earned rewards from monetization.

  • Gaimin Gladiators merchandise is already on sale. Click this link to view GG Merchandise - GG Merchandise

Dashboard

  • The Dashboard provides the interface for a user to track their activity and reward allocation.

  • When the user achieves a new reward, this type of reward and its value is shown in the Dashboard.

  • The user can monitor their reward generation and see the derivation of their rewards.

Collections

  • Collections are GAIMIN’s approach to incentivizing users to maintain their connection and access to the GAIMIN network.

  • Collections are based on the user being able to claim “Collectable” digital assets based on a theme.

  • The first Gaimin Gladiators Collection released was for the 2022 DOTA 2 roster competing at the world tournament, TI 11 in Singapore, as shown in the image below.

  • The goal going forward for Collections is to release various collectible digital assets based on themes such as GAIMIN Gladiator Team rosters, individual team members, attendance at tournaments, etc.

  • The intention of a themed collection is to promote the collection to the followers of a team and encourage them to participate in the GAIMIN network and be rewarded with digital assets for the teams, tournaments, and individuals they follow.

  • The “Collection” will be promoted via Gaimin Gladiators to their followers. The collector just needs to download the app, register with GAIMIN and remain connected for a number of hours. The performance of their device is not relevant to Collections; the goal of “Collections” is to build an active user community and allow followers of a game to claim something based on connectivity hours rather than basing this on actual monetization and device performance.

  • The active user can promote their NEP link and benefit from users registering with their NEP.

  • The Collections concept will be replicated through other esports teams, thereby extending the reach of GAIMIN within each esport community.

Wallet

  • The “Wallet” page provides access to a user’s external wallet through the GAIMIN platform.

  • Following login, the Wallet page displays user assets including Wallet balance, Digital Game Assets and any tokens held.

  • The Wallet provides a history of wallet transactions

Monetization functionality

  • When a user installs the GAIMIN app they immediately start monetizing.

  • To allocate monetized rewards, the user needs to register with GAIMIN. Registration collects basic user data and is required to enable a user to later withdraw their rewards.

  • GAIMIN identifies the device (CPU, GPU) installed in their PC and registers its availability to the gaimin.cloud

  • GAIMIN’s AI Engine (machine learning autonomous decision maker) dedicates the user’s resources to monetization depending on device specification and monetization job requirements.

  • GAIMIN monetization currently provides 2 mechanisms to monetize the available devices:

    • Video rendering

    • Powering of blockchain computations

    • Future plans for powering AI are underway

  • The user can see how they are currently monetizing through the “Monetization” display:

    • Fr/m indicates “Rendering”

    • Mh/s indicates “Powering of Blockchain computations”

  • Monetization through video rendering is dependent on the availability of rendering jobs. If there are no rendering jobs, then GAIMIN automatically switches to powering of blockchain computations.

  • When powering blockchain computations, the AI Decision Maker selects the most profitable blockchain calculations to process based on a number of macro and micro parameters obtained from internal and external sources and dedicates the GAIMIN network to the most profitable at the current time.

  • GAIMIN AI Decision Maker periodically reviews its data and if profitability changes, then the GAIMIN Platform switches to the most profitable functionality.

  • The Monetization slider allows an Active User to determine how much of their device processing power can be allocated to monetization. This allows lower-performing devices to continue monetization to an extent without impacting the operations of the PC (important for gamers so they do not experience lag when playing a game).

gaimin.cloud

  • gaimin.cloud is GAIMIN’s distributed, decentralized data processing network.

  • gaimin.cloud comprises all devices participating in the GAIMIN network, identified when a user/gamer downloads and installs the GAIMIN application.

  • GAIMIN records device data and when a device notifies its availability, GAIMIN will send cloud monetization jobs to the active devices and accept the processed file or output.

  • Initially gaimin.cloud will be focussing on offering data processing based on high performance GPU devices, primarily due to the suitability of GPUs to perform data processing tasks, and the huge numbers of GPUs available via the global gaming community. According to NewZoo there are approximately 1.6+ billion PC gamers, with an estimated 400 million of them having GPUs valued at $500 each or more. This means there is approximately $200 billion worth of GPUs sat either unused or underused, which represents the largest under-utilized supply of distributed data processing power in the world. This is what we are going to use to power the gaimin.cloud.

Mobile Application

  • GAIMIN’s Platform has been developed with a mobile application already in mind.

  • GAIMIN’s development team has built the platform with APIs and a mobile application in mind from day one

  • The mobile application will not provide monetization functionality at present (smartphones do not yet have the power or performance), however, the mobile application will provide the user with an interface into their GAIMIN account and wallet.

  • It is planned that the user will be able to:

    • View balances and transactions.

    • Access their wallet.

    • Transact on the Marketplace.

    • Buy, sell and trade their in-game assets.

    • Play mobile or mini-games.

    • Stream content.

    • Manage their NEP referral ink sharing.

  • The aim of the Mobile application is to enhance the user experience and interaction with GAIMIN and to also increase the number of transactions through the blockchain

  • Mobile accessibility also opens up GAIMIN to new users

GMRX: GAIMIN’s Token

  • GMRX is GAIMIN’s utility cryptocurrency.

  • When GAIMIN receives payment for gaimin.cloud jobs, or from other data processing services, payment will be collected by GAIMIN in a combination of fiat and other cryptocurrencies.

  • GAIMIN retains 10% of any fees for its operational use and returns up to 90% back to the users who allowed their devices to participate in the data processing network and process jobs.

  • Users receive their rewards proportional to the involvement they had in the data processing job.

  • To reduce the number of different payment currencies, GAIMIN consolidates all payments received for data processing services into stablecoin, and then (once listed) will purchase GMRX on the open market to reward users in GMRX.

  • This purchase process helps to create daily buying pressure for GMRX, which in turn can help to stabilize and assist in maintaining the users' purchasing power, and may potentially increase the value of GMRX without relying on speculative buyers.

  • The purchase of GMRX from the open market also allows GAIMIN to undertake other price maintenance activities - such as token burning and staking (to reduce available supply) and manage liquidity pools.

  • GAIMIN intends to list GMRX by Q1/2024.

  • Gaimin Gladiators is GAIMIN’s esports organization.

  • Gaimin Gladiators currently comprises 5 esports teams participating in DOTA2, Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, APEX Legends, and The Harvest (a soon-to-be-released game), plus another team currently under negotiation.

  • GAIMIN established Gaimin Gladiators to promote the GAIMIN brand to the target community - gamers with high-specification PCs.

  • GAIMIN is the majority owner and primary sponsor for the team and incorporates GG branding and identification throughout all its products and services.

  • GAIMIN creates limited edition incentives to promote the GAIMIN brand to the GG community - these include collectible NFTs acquired through a download and installation of the app.

  • GAIMIN will be extending its reach through GG in 2023 through new rosters, new games, and its Games Launcher service.
