Native Production Chain

Previously utilising a Layer 2 Ethereum solution from Polygon, GAIMIN is moving its native production chain to BNB Chain, which will provide the underlying blockchain architecture for all GAIMIN's operations.

GAIMIN's goal is to be EVM multichain compatible. Further details on this will be documented in the associated Technical Whitepaper as and when changes are implemented.

Harnessing Processing Power

The GAIMIN platform harnesses the power of GPUs in PCs to create an aggregated pool of processing power to undertake intensive processing activities. This aggregated network of processing devices is called gaimin.cloud.

However, the GPU is not the only data processing device within a PC. GAIMIN has identified CPU processing functionality and the sharing of hard drive resources which will all be incorporated into gaimin.cloud. GAIMIN has already developed the technology and successfully delivered CPU monetization tests in the beta version of the GAIMIN platform.

The GAIMIN platform identifies available devices and correlates device availability with individual data processing jobs. The GAIMIN AI “Decision Making” Engine identifies the most profitable job available at any given time and allocates devices to the data processing job.

As gaimin.cloud comprises a global decentralized pool of data processing power, service delivery through gaimin.cloud is spread globally and being location agnostic ensures the energy processing for devices is spread proportionately across the globe, both limiting and spreading energy consumption.

gaimin.cloud utilizes an unlimited number of devices; there is no limitation to the size of gaimin.cloud. The more devices, the bigger the GAIMIN distributed processing network and the greater the available performance from all devices. As gaimin.cloud increases in size and processing power, the greater the revenue generated by GAIMIN and the greater the return to participating devices and users.

The GAIMIN platform has been designed to deliver a number of different data processing services. Over time, GAIMIN will be adding new services to take advantage of the data processing network and facilitate service delivery through gaimin.cloud. The platform initially focuses on rendering of videos and when video rendering jobs are not available, the platform will automatically switch to powering blockchain computations. Following the recent emergence of AI-based services, GAIMIN is working with AI service providers to provide access to gaimin.cloud as a data processing service for AI functionality that supplements their in-house data processing during peak usage.

Other services will be added over time into the platform and supplement the different data processing services available and extend the monetization capabilities of gaimin.cloud.

With GAIMIN’s focus on the gaming community, users tend to be gamers however it is important to understand anyone with a suitable PC can participate in the gaimin.cloud.

Web3 Games and Game Launcher

Web3 API and SDK

To support game developers’ ability to convert their Web2 games to Web3, GAIMIN is releasing two key technology components - an API and an SDK.

  • API (Application Programming Interface) - GAIMIN’s API is a set of protocols, routines, and tools and specifies how software components should interact to integrate Web3 technology components into a game. The API allows for communication between different systems and applications and provides a way for different software programs to communicate with each other, enabling them to exchange data and perform certain functions.

  • SDK (Software Development Kit) - GAIMIN’s SDK (Software Development Kit) is a collection of software development tools in a single installable package and includes GAIMIN’s API along with additional tools and components that make it easier to implement Web3 components into a game.

Game Launcher

  • GAIMIN’s Game Launcher allows game developers and publishers to add their Web2 and Web3 games to the GAIMIN Application

  • GAIMIN will verify any game before allowing it to be released to ensure it complies with GAIMIN’s guidelines and policy relating to restricted or illegal content, hate speech and discrimination, explicit adult content, copyrighted or libelous content, local or national laws, child endangerment, child exploitation, contains virus, malware or trojans and gathering of personal or sensitive data.

  • Following verification of the game, GAIMIN will make the game available to users for download and to play through the GAIMIN platform

User Rewards

A user is rewarded for allowing their device to participate in gaimin.cloud. As gaimin.cloud provides a diverse range of services, each generating revenue in different formats and currencies, GAIMIN consolidates all the payments received into a single utility cryptocurrency, rather than paying out users in small amounts of a variety of payment formats and cryptocurrencies. This consolidated currency is GMRX.

GMRX will be listed on one or more exchanges, including both CEX and DEX, which will provide holders of GMRX allowing them to trade GMRX for other cryptocurrencies or convert into fiat currency.

GMRX is also an inherent component for the GAIMIN ecosystem. With crypto exchange support, GMRX will have a tangible value, enabling it to be traded through exchanges. It is anticipated the main use of GMRX will be able as the exclusive utility token within the GAIMIN ecosystem, such as using it within games that support GAIMIN technology or purchasing accessories and merchandise through GAIMIN Marketplace, or for purchase on in-game assets. When a user utilizes their GMRX for purchases, GAIMIN will be able to offer discounts or enhanced characteristics for purchases.

GAIMIN AI Engine and Decision Maker

The GAIMIN platform incorporates Artificial Intelligence (machine learning) for decision-making. The GAIMIN AI decision-maker component is aiming to predict:

”What is the most profitable use of the gaimin.cloud at any given time based on jobs and devices available for delivering data processing services?”

The GAIMIN AI Engine and Decision Maker is continually collecting and analyzing data related to improving its predictive analytics algorithms. For example, for video rendering, the GAIMIN Decision Maker provides the rendering customer with an estimated price for rendering from an analysis of 1% of the raw data file. The estimator renders 1 frame from every 100 frames, assessing the cost of each frame and building an estimation of the cost to render the whole file from this 1% analysis. It is only when the whole file is rendered that the actual cost is returned. The Decision Maker reviews its estimate of cost against actual cost, determines the reason for variance, and attempts to refine and improve its decision-making logic for cost estimates.

When powering blockchain computations, the Decision Maker receives hourly open market data based on current blockchain powering metrics and uses this to determine which cryptocurrency to mine at the current time based on available devices.

The Decision Maker combines real-world data with its own archive of processing results and incorporates active user information, such as device hardware (graphic processing unit, central processing unit, hard drive) to make predictive decisions on how to deploy processing jobs to gaimin.cloud and the most efficient use of devices to deliver processing requirements. Its primary objective is to maximize revenue for GAIMIN and return the best rewards back to the user.

The AI Decision Making algorithms are proprietary to GAIMIN and are considered to be GAIMIN’s intellectual property. These algorithms have been proven to provide commercial and competitive advantages in the choice of data processing services based on gaimin.cloud device characteristics and availability.

The AI self-educating machine learning model will be constantly updated to provide more profitable decision-led mining/powering activities. This is an ongoing process and will be released in regular updates to the GAIMIN platform.

GAIMIN Platform Functional Components

App Download and Installation

  • The GAIMIN platform is built for scale, interoperability, compatibility, and future-proofed. It is built using the Electron Framework, as used by Discord, Whatsapp, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Twitch and others.

  • The standard Windows download and Installation process follows known standards; it’s safe and fast.

  • The GAIMIN Platform is downloadable from GAIMIN.GG either directly or via NEP referrals.

  • Registration is required to collect rewards.

  • Monetization commences immediately, increasing rewards through GPU processing of video rendering jobs and the powering of blockchain computations currently, as well as future monetization plans currently under research and development.

AI Monetization - GPU Processing Aggregation

  • Selection - Selects the most profitable service - rendering or powering blockchain computations.

  • The app will not currently provide data processing power to gaimin.cloud but will provide all other services and functionality to the user. Future monetization possibilities for mobile devices will be looked it when appropriate.

Digital Game Asset (DGA) and DGAxg

  • A Digital Game Assets (DGA) is a tokenized game asset, deployable in Web3 games and stored as an NFT providing the user with true, secure digitial ownership of their gaming assets.

  • DGAxg is GAIMIN’s interoperable, cross-game, platform-independent, utility Digital Game Asset (DGA), which enables the deployment of in-game assets across all compatible games.

  • DGAxg can be used interoperably across supported games, with characteristics dependent on game utilization. Games can become supported and compatible using GAIMINs dev tools (SDK/API) in just a few clicks.

  • DGAxg can be bought, sold, and traded through GAIMIN Marketplace

Streaming (Watch to Earn)

GAIMIN has integrated Twitch streaming services into the Platform.

Players of esports games utilize Twitch to stream their live gameplay and interact with their community of followers during gameplay. GAIMIN has integrated Twitch streaming into its Platform and application to provide a dedicated interface to streamers and enable GAIMIN’s esports players to deliver bespoke content to their followers through the GAIMIN platform.

The streaming section of the platform shows images of all streamers currently associated with GAIMIN streaming along with confirmation if they are "Live". A follower can click on a streamer profile and watch their stream.

Streaming through the platform requires followers to download and install the GAIMIN app. Once installed, users will be able to participate in monetization and achievement features, thereby earning passive rewards whilst watching the streams. This approach incentivizes followers to utilize the app features and generate passive rewards by doing “something” through the platform that they would do elsewhere. GAIMIN has also implemented a “Watch to Earn” feature where the active user earns additional GMRX just by watching a stream. Therefore active users have multiple opportunities to passively earn rewards by watching the streams:

  1. Monetization - installing the app and enabling monetization will allow them to passively generate rewards through participation in gaimin.cloud

  2. “Watch to Earn” rewards - when a user watches a stream, they are rewarded with GMRX based on the amount of time they watch the streams

  3. Achievements - these are in-game Digital Game Assets that are earned by time connected to the app. Both GMRX and DGAs are available for passive collections through this process. GAIMIN is releasing limited edition DGAs for esports games teams and their participation in various tournaments - for example, GAIMIN released a range of DGAs for the 2023 DOTA 2 roster and their qualification for the Lima Major.

Streamers will be incentivized to promote the app to their followers and use the streamer's NEP referral link to download and install the app. The streamer will be incentivized to promote this facility as they will earn 10% of the rewards generated by their followers along with 10% of the next two layers of NEP referrals.

GAIMIN will use the Twitch streaming integration to promote downloads of the app and incentivize users to monetize and earn rewards. The app will be promoted by streamers who will be invited to participate (participation will not be open to anyone) with streamers selected based on their streaming alignment to the GAIMIN esports target markets and the correlation of their followers to GAIMIN target requirements.

Currently, users can donate to streamers from within the app, and GAIMIN will be enhancing the functionality and options available to both followers and streamers to further incentivize both the streamer to promote their participation through the GAIMIN platform and followers to view the stream through the GAIMIN platform and passive earn rewards.

"GAIMCRAFT"

GAIMIN has developed technology to implement Web3 utility and features into games, such as interoperable, cross-game, utility, in-game assets, (stored as NFTs). In order to demonstrate the ability of the technology to deliver blockchain-enhanced games to market GAIMIN used the highly popular, moddable, AAA games Minecraft and GTA V as proof-of-concept.

This development formed the basis of GAIMIN's SDK/API technology offering to game developers to now allow them to quickly and easily enable Web3 attributes, features, and benefits into their own games without the need for any complex and expensive development work.

In-game assets based on blockchain technologies, help game developers maintain their in-game economy and its alignment with their revenue model, and as Web3 game adoption continues to grow and is integrated into games, game developers must adopt monetization and revenue models that embrace this technology so as to take advantage of the benefits Web3 will bring to their games. GAIMIN's technology can easily allow this.

GAIMIN’s approach to implementing GAIMIN technology into games is known as GAIMCRAFT.

GAIMCRAFT is designed to allow Web3 technologies to be incorporated into games. Through Minecraft and GTAV augmentations, GAIMIN demonstrated the ability for digital in-game assets to be stored in a wallet, outside of the game, and then be incorporated into games during gameplay. To this end, GAIMIN also launched a world-first - DGAxg- a cross-game Digital Game Asset that could be used in different games. The DGAxg changes characteristics according to the game in which it is being used - the user owns a single DGA, stored in their wallet, but can utilize it differently in different games. In addition, GAIMCRAFT also demonstrated the ability of GAIMIN to implement metaverse technology into games, which included features such as watch rooms, “live event” spaces, marketplace integration, and land plot purchases with all purchasing achieved with blockchain technology. In order to create a fair-play environment, GAIMCRAFT establishes server-wide rules to manage and negate bad and inappropriate behavior and incorporated numerous commands to help users navigate, build and roam, improving playability.
